This is entirely your call, you know the checks and balancesof both don't ya. You have a woman or child that wants to hug your mid-section? Gona go solo all the time? Have two seats handy if ya have any doubt...

Your call, but I'd say go solo & get a suction cup pillion for the occasional passenger.

Two seats are better than one. Get a solo seat and keep the stock seat for those times you want to go 2 up or just get a solo seat and a passenger pillion like Redhawk said and like I did. Anyways for sure get a solo seat they look great on Sporties.

I like solo, 99% single ride, I still keep the stock 2-up just in case.

It looks good, doesn't it?

Personally I am a fan of the two up. If you do ride solo, get something like a fastback or something with minimal padding in back. I think it seems to make the curves flow better.

One thing to add, if I have to choose a 2-up, these are my choices.
Mustang fastback

OR
Lepera Daytona Sport LT

OR
C&C 2-up

I put on a LePera Barebones solo. It makes the bike look lower and longer, and you see alot more of the fender.I also installed a chrome mini rack that uses the two rear seat mount holes. loks night and day better IMO.
