Default Forward to mid controls

I have a 2014 48 and I just got mid controls and I was curious if the bolts that mount the forwards and the mids are the same bolts cause I'm having trouble threading the bolts in!

The bolts are the same thread size and should fit. Check to make sure tune plus ate removed from the bolt holes and plugged up with road debris.

When I did my 48, I had paint in the threads from the factory. I don't recall about the bolts, but I did have threading issues before removing the paint in the threads.

I purchased mids before I purchased the bike(48), and then when I actually started riding the bike I didnt feel like they are that forward and I like it the way it is. Sold the mids.

In comparison, controls on wide glide feel wayyy forward.
