I am 6' 1" 200lbs the better 1/2 is 5' 11" 190lbs . the trick for me is better rear shocks (I used Dyna shocks) and heavier oil in the front

Been looking into this for so long. Hopefully this will help someone along the way.
6ft 2" with 36" inside leg / inseam. 184lbs.
Just done MoCo ride out day.
Fitted Sporster 48 without a problem. Prob do with extended forwards for all day comfort but would you spend all day on a 48? And have to stop every 80-100 miles anyway!
Rode Street Bob with mids. Street Bob looks and feels much bigger but mids for me were really awkward. Kept knocking foot peg up when lifting foot to pedal.
48 never had that issue as stretching forward to place foot.
In my mind I had always thought I would need extended forwards on 48 having sat in showroom but on road for a 35 minutes ride it was comfortable with no real issue.
Hope this helps someone along the way.
I'm brand new to Harley and a convert from bandit street bike. No preconceptions or fan boy attitude just a research freak who was starting to get really frustrated by all the talk of 6 ft plus never fitting a sportster
I can now say without fear and bear in mind I'm laying down £9000 ( $13000) that I would have no issue ordering a 48 on stock pegs with my dimensions.
Ride safe
