Not sure why your revived a 3 year old thread, but get some shorter shocks. Do a search on here for lowering a sportster as there are hundreds if not thousands of thread pertaining to that.
Oh, and 5'10" and 190 lbs.
i replied to the thread because I stumbled upon it while searching for ways to lower my bike. didnt realize it was so old, but its since recieved 3 pages of new replies, so thats cool.
