I like mine and they are neighbor friendly. Louder than stock but still not too offensive for most neighbors (some will complain no matter what).

I was reading the post about leaving early in the morning for work and keeping peace with the neighbors. I bet a lot of guys who put on the loud pipes/mufflers don't consider the times they may want the bike to be quiet.

I know what you mean. I want V&H short shots, but I'm worried about them being ridiculously loud. I just want something louder than stock, relatively deep sounding, and not too long. I wonder how the short shots sound with the quiet baffles in.

$299 for both. If you're a hog member most shops will give you a discount or try Zanotti's website, they usually have a great price.

From what I have read, these things were supposed to suck... they dont sound bad to me.
Crossover tube was installed too, not taken off.
