sold the sporty today. it was very hard to do, but at this time i just cant justify 2 bikes. i wanted the cash because i have some upgrades i want to make to the road king, and im still planning a cross coutnry trip in a few weeks. not to mention the bite uncle sam just took out of my azz. i will get another one, but im gonna do it differently this time. i want to buy one with no frills or bling whatsoever, and really change everything on it. i would honestly love to get a cheaper one and tinker around with it and see if i cant learn a thing or two in the process. all that to say. dont kick me out just yet!!!

 

Something tells me you are gonna be just fine. Everything happens for a reason; and your Road King will probably tell you what that reason is.

No need to shed tears LOL. Your Road King is sweet azz!!! In fact it is hands down nicest one that I have seen.

 

i even had a hard time selling my kawasaki when i bought the sportster..i would have a real hard time getting rid of the sportster but your right just cant justify having 2 of them..you can only ride one at a time..

I hope you didn't get beat up to bad price wise. I'm in the same boat. When the RK I wanted came F/S I had to jump. Now with all the rain/snow I can even get anyone to look and offer the Sportster.

 

no i actually did good. i got 99% of my money back out of the sporty, and bought the rk for $16k. both were private deals. the dealer who was gonna "hook me up" when i decided i wanted a rk instead of the sporty i just bought from him, suddenly had a change of heart. i came back with the cash and the sporty to trade in, and he started working up these really insulting deals. oh well f%^# him. i finally got what i wanted.
