Memphis makes several different models. I have one that's similar to the HD QD. It's 21" wide & 19" tall (also comes in 21" tall). The one I have connects to the forks and works very well. It does take a hex (allen) wrench to remove it but I prefer that to the HD QD that anyone can snap off without any tools. Memphis also has some smaller shields that connect to the handlebars but I would'nt go there. I'm very happy with what I have and the shield & mount qualityare first class.

I used one Memphis on my Suzuky the are good no problems, but the only problem is the you need a wrench to install it and to remove it , so that's the reason that on my sporsters I went for the quick realese HD, easy so easy much better (I am Lazy)

But they are good no problem

I bought the Del rey, then the Del Rio for my 06 roadsterand I don't care for them. The quality is fine, but the wind buffeting around my head was too annoying. I originally bought the harley quick detach and really liked the way itlooked too, butI just didn't like looking"through" the shield and thought if I could find one that topped out just below my eyes, it would be better. WRONG! [:@] I wish now I had kept the harley shield and listened to the dealer that it takes a little time to get use to. I am probably going to list them on ebay for about half of what I paid , just to get rid of them, then go back to the dealer and buy back the harley one. My .02, thats all.

i believe that those 2 may be too short for you, that is why you had the buffiting

I think you're right. Even with the full size shield be it Memphis or HD, I find I have to keep my knees tucked in against the tank to stop helmet buffeting at (70+) highway speeds. About the only way to stop that is a full faring.

I had one on a former bike. Very good quality, as good as HD without the high price.
