So I entered my 48 into a show and shine at our local harley dealer here in Victoria BC.

I'm absolutely stunned at how much attention the bike got! There were so many people who though I had entered the bike in the wrong class.... LOL

Not wanting to come across as self absorbed or any of the like, but I'm proud to say that my bike won the division!

Thanks for the inspiration!

Wow congrats....well deserved!

Like I said nicest Sporty bagger I've seen. I've seen Sportsters with 240 rear and fully customized but it wasn't a bagger.

Plan to change out my wolo air horn for a real horn...wolo air horn is extremely loud but it's chrome plastic and I hate plastic.

Bought a HD Loud Side Horn Kit 69060-90H + HD Horn Assy Cover 61300523A...chrome of course.

After receiving the cover, found out that the emblem needs to be ordered separately - Insert 14100764

Default My bike

Heres my 91 Sportster. I dont consider it a bagger but i never take the saddlebags off so maybe it qualifys. I use them and can't imagine not having them on my bike. They hold rain gear, pieces of rope, and few others things I like to have with me. I also need that space to put stuff when I go to the stores. And if I'm going for long trip those bags are packet to the max.

Can't beat saddlebags for carrying stuff. I too never take mine off, but couple weeks ago had to send them in to get it repaired. Used a backpack during that time and hated it....even strapped the backpack to a luggage rack...just a hassle to carry stuff and take on and off.

Chrome Heel Toe Shifter Kit, Mid-Controls, Sportster (HTS-SP1)

Bought one of these to try it out...looks well make and comes with footpegs too. Here are some pics.

Installed....looks like it would work well. Will take it out tomorrow to test it out.

Where did you get the shifter? Do you think it would work on a forward control XL1200C 2009?

For forward controls, I would look at DK Custom's HT shifter.

The ones above is specifically for mids.....hard to find. Even DK does not offer one for mids. Found these on ebay.
