Please post the pics when you can. I'm watching the thread closely. My wife needs bags.

Looks good. Also here are a few updated pics of my "baggster" after painting and mounting the Heritage Softail type skirted front fender. Sorry for not being able to pass up the opportunity to shamelessly plug these in there when i have another thread going for it. I figured since this is supposed to be the "official" bagger thread, why not.

Thanks. Nice bagger! Was that fender a direct replacement of the OEM Sportster fender or did you have to fabricate? When I increased the size of my wheel from 19 to 21, was looking at fenders or adapters in case it would not fit in the stock fender...could not find any. Good thing my wheel fit nicely with stock fender.

This is the fender:

http://www.sportsterspecialty.com/cu...9mm-forks.html

At the mount points, it was just the same width as 120mm tire so I had to widen that part slightly to allow some space between the sides of tire and fender (nothing that a mallet can't fix, just be gentle.). The mount holes line up nicely with stock fork mount holes. I just had to get 2" long bolts (5/16" in case you are wondering) and a few spacers and it was fairly easy. The best part was that I didn't have to pull the wheel to slide the fender in.

This fender should fit 21" skinny wheel without any issues at all though. Hope this helps.
