I wanted my backrest so I put back my solo seat and removed the mustang tripper fastback 2-up. Will find boots with 1.75 - 2" heels or get my current boots modified.

Thank you everyone for your assistance and advice....gotta love this forum.

Here is a pic with the SG air-oil shocks and slightly higher stance compared to my signature pic
That is great news! CONGRATS on the upgrade.

Thanks. Working with DK to see if lowering blocks will fit.

Welcome to the forum and to the sportster bagger thread. There are many sporty baggers ...best of both worlds, the nimbleness and speed of a sporty and the bags to carry your stuff. Enjoy

Thanks the bags are pretty sweet. They quick disconnect from the cross over and then have snap links that connect them together to make them easy to carry as one piece with the attached handles.

Here are some close ups of the bags. The throw over has a backing plate that attaches to the bags with velcro and the snap links.

In the other pics it shows where I mounted my BOSS AMP on the windshield upright, the wiring is run to the fuse box and is another circuit and only works when the key is on.
