Installed "Clip-on Ferrite Ring Core RFI EMI Noise Suppressor Cable Clip" 5mm on my PowerVision cable to eliminate the interference to the unit so the screen does not freeze or go blank. Gauges came right up...we'll see if it works on the road.

Hope you get the same fix I got on mine. Had another set of rides and no more issues.

Thanks for the tip. Beats re-routing the cable for the 4th time. I also installed a second clip to the cable just after it exits from under the tank to reduce the interference and the one in the pic just before it goes into the unit to eliminate anything from the wires between the fork tubes...so it should eliminate any interference if it claims to do what it should. Will test it soon and report back.

Thanks again..gotta love this forum.

Default 2009 xl1200c

My little 'ol humble "new to me" bagger.

Came with Leather Pros bags and I added Rush Slash down slip-ons and the engine guard. Also added X14IEd fuel enrichers. Runs and sounds great. Still get +40 around town and 47 to 50 on the road . . depending.

2009 and it only had 3,890 miles on it this past May.

Lookin good JayTee. You are on your way. I also have Rush slash cut slip-ons and love them.

Glad your Xieds are working for you. Did you upgrade your AC?

Oh and welcome to the forum.

Has any one put a tour pack on their sporty that still allows 2 up riding?

I haven't but have been considering either the Leather Pros TB3900 or TB 2600 installed on the back of my rack. Also, here is a thread of the TB 3900 on a soft tail.

Looks like CrazyDave has a tour pack with backrest and a 2-up seat (without that duffle bag). I believe kingxirol also has a tour pack with backrest.
