Just replaced the old Dunlop with a 110/90-19 Commander II to match the rear. Biggest that will fit on the skinny wheel. Amazing difference in ride! It'll hold me until I get my mid glide conversion done.

Thanks for the kind words. Yes, your own bike is always #1....if not, it's time to do some mods or get a new bike...lol

Here's a thread about those bags, with plenty of photos of several bikes with them.

yeah i saw the thread, thanks..reason asking was I have shocks with external reservoirs and wanted to see the back of these bags to see if I would have clearance issues.

This is what the back of each bag looks like, with a cutout for the shock. I have Hagons at present, which are fatter than the stock shocks and they are cleared easily. Also attached a shot, as best I can manage, of the area around the top of a shock. There is space in there for a remote reservoir, but it will depend how big yours are.

The bags could also be spaced further away from the bike, to create extra space, if necessary. I live in the UK, so sorted out replacement longer spacers myself, also longer screws, to get the fit to my liking. It isn't rocket science to make adaptations! What brand of shocks do you have?
