it is a little higher than I want it at present.
I need to get a new headlight mount fabricated as when the fairing is further down I can't adjust the headlight.
So it is only at that height for the oment

@BensonUK - Your situation was different from mine. I needed to lower my 7" headlight to properly fit the fairing so removed my headlight relo kit and installed the headlight on the lower triple tree.

@Kingxirol - what's up bro...haven't seen you on the forum for a while.

Roger that. Please post pics when you get to the fabrication. Your bike is already very nice looking btw.

Nothing much brother ... still alive and posting a little bit in the general chat section. bike is still in the shop so I am jonesing. It's gonna be a big blow money-wise from from what the shop quoted me ($2k in labor plus parts) ... In fact I almost picked up a very nice low-miles Yamaha FZ6 from CL a couple of days ago to continue riding .... but then snapped out of the spell when I realized what the current mess is going to cost me ...

Hey PM'd you on something ... check your messagebox.

Mine was already mounted to the lower triple tree and it was ok with the 5 3/5 headlight but it just didn't look big enough for the overall look.
The Fatboy 7" headlight is more balanced but really just needs to be about 3/4" further forward and then the fairing will drop down nicely

Just received my rear fat spoke wheels, matching rotor and pulley and a new chrome HD lower fork slider kit...will be taking it in to the dealer to have everything installed...a one day job. Just thought I share my Sporty Bagger Convertible as I remove things for the install.

Fairings and bags

No fairings with bags

No fairings no bags

hmmmm.....not sure about the fairings, but definitely keeping the bags. I hate wearing backpacks.
