Love the look of this Kuryakyn Velociraptor air intake system. It has a K&N filter.

Just ordered one but will probably run DK's breather bolts instead of running tubes back into the AC

My install of Kuryakyn Velociraptor...removed the spacer/breather ring from the v-stack and kept DK's support bracket and breather bolts.

Thanks RKZen. Yup can't wait until I get those covers back. Thanks again for the inspiration.

I have on several ocassions tried to change the signature pic but it won't accept the pics. Used the smallest size that I could send from my iphone. In fact, my sig pic in the system now is not the same as the one shown in my signature pic on my posts. I don't know...maybe I'm missing something.

Update 2/26/16: Took the bike on the freeway and it was better but there is still some airflow...but not too bad. I think if I go taller, will need light tint for lower view. If I bring down my helmet visor, its all good. So will probably leave it.
Fitted the 9 1/2 inch to mine as well. 80 mph open face helmet and I could even ride without glasses. The black screen I got is not very good at night as it does limit the road vision at night. Think I might go with a 9 inch clear I found and tint it a little

Let me know which one you go with....I also think the 9 1/2 is too dark but could not find any in light tint or smoked with the same shape. I would even go 10" flared if the tint was lighter since I still can see over the shield. With the black tint, can't see anything below the windshield day or night so definitely impairs vision of the road.

Sounds like a good fit for you though and the shield is doing its job if you can go 80 mph open face without glasses. I could go 70 open face with glasses....but at 80, I think my glasses would be shaking too much and would blur my vision. Post some pics. Thanks for the update.

LOL no you did not miss anything. He said he is painting it today....although that is what he said last week and the week before....haha.

He is a friend that is giving me good deals on my paint jobs...so I don't rush him....just find out where he is at in the process. He does a lot of work for the Harley dealership here so I am sure those take priority since those are higher priced jobs.

Thanks for asking. Ride safe!

You too. I bet the color matched tins will look killer. Also adding the pic of the latest form my bike has taken ... all set for a 3 day Tail of the Dragon run on April 1st weekend ...

As always, excuse the mess ... I kinda like a messy garage... it give my bike a "diamond in the rough" look with garage making up for the "rough" part ...
