Thanks RKZen. Yup can't wait until I get those covers back. Thanks again for the inspiration.
I have on several ocassions tried to change the signature pic but it won't accept the pics. Used the smallest size that I could send from my iphone. In fact, my sig pic in the system now is not the same as the one shown in my signature pic on my posts. I don't know...maybe I'm missing something.

Took the bike out for a short run on surface streets...as expected, much better. No direct airflow from the 9.5" flared WS hitting my head/face. Still get breeze which is wanted, but no strong stream of air off the WS that I was getting with the 10" straight and the 8" flared.
Update 2/26/16: Took the bike on the freeway and it was better but there is still some airflow...but not too bad. I think if I go taller, will need light tint for lower view. If I bring down my helmet visor, its all good. So will probably leave it.

Let me know which one you go with....I also think the 9 1/2 is too dark but could not find any in light tint or smoked with the same shape. I would even go 10" flared if the tint was lighter since I still can see over the shield. With the black tint, can't see anything below the windshield day or night so definitely impairs vision of the road.
Sounds like a good fit for you though and the shield is doing its job if you can go 80 mph open face without glasses. I could go 70 open face with glasses....but at 80, I think my glasses would be shaking too much and would blur my vision. Post some pics. Thanks for the update.

He is a friend that is giving me good deals on my paint jobs...so I don't rush him....just find out where he is at in the process. He does a lot of work for the Harley dealership here so I am sure those take priority since those are higher priced jobs.
Thanks for asking. Ride safe!

As always, excuse the mess ... I kinda like a messy garage... it give my bike a "diamond in the rough" look with garage making up for the "rough" part ...
