And the saga continues....

Please take it off the thread...go PM the guy or argue your points on this thread "so i just got a sportster WHY does every harley owner tell me your gonna want bigger"....at least it somewhat relates to the subject matter.

I'd much rather see what people are doing with their baggers on this thread.

Thank you.

Amen to that brother! Here is another sporty-bagger that I found one of the best looking on the internet. Owned by a guy with screen-name hlgsn over at XLForum.net.

Perhaps the batwing fairing is your next project. I recall on another post you just painted and installed a fat boy type front fender. Bring on those pics.

You are getting close to your inspiration.....looks like you just need to upgrade the stock air cleaner and put on the fairing.

It pains me that I can't ride now!
You have no idea! My wife bought her bike the first week of November. I road it home in 32* rain and almost got a deer on it. I washed it and it's sitting in the garage. It's driving her nuts

Agreed, wides to boot, I love the look of the bigger tire on the front bu hows it for miles, more or less than the skinny spoked tires on 08's?

Cheers bro,

I have never ridden one with the narrow tire. But, I love how this one tracks with the wide tire. It handles like a dream.
And putting the chumps handlebars on made it even more enjoyable to ride. Now I can sit back and relax more than I could with the stock bars.

still ain't washed it. Bag on the back is one I use when I go grocery shopping.

Fairing is a pacifico off a 76 Yamaha XS1100, the seat is from a 78 CB550, and the bags are hardstreets.

Its a 2012 superlow with roadster damper rods and progressive fork springs, the rear uses 12.5 progressive bagger shocks (not sure which ones, bought them disassembled) with stock springs from an 08 wideglide. exhaust is a roadhouse 2:1 with no baffle.
