the speedo mount is still a sportster one...they used the same design for older models as well as some of the Custom 1200s

here is one on ebay link it also gives you a 3 inch lift on the bars so watch the cable lengths on the front brake

I can see all the lights fine and there is no restriction of view and yes I have the same tank

Still a work work in progress but happy I have proper saddlebags. Still sooo much to do but love love my bike!

Local bike shop found some after market saddlebag brackets from drag specialist and then the bags are off a new style touring bike that had crashed. Not sure year tho ..

Wow they did a nice job of mounting them. Look like they belong on it. Are they hard to take off or a semi permanent mount? Looks like they will have tons of storage. Are the pass pegs still accessible?

Are they painted to match the bike? Sorry for all the questions.

Lol all good! They did a great job and yes they were painted to match. They have the quick release and pass pegs were removed. Works for me as I don’t carry passengers anyway.

Yea thought those were a little too long for the pass, but was hopeful anyway. Great looking setup

there are some kits out there for the Sportster to mount HD hard bags as they are on the glides

Yea the part of losing the pass pegs ruins it for me. Want to be able to take the wife along.
