Okay so I got the 12" burly kit for $150 from PhatPerformance.

It said: "XL models 07 and up...

Now I am reading that the 2014 Sportsters use HDLAN so the wiring kit that is in the burly kit is not the right one... Apparently burly released a new kit that is plug and play with the HDLAN and it's about $100 more expensive...

Is this right?
Can I make the wiring kit for the 07 to 13 sportsters work on my 14 xl1200x?

I'm at my wits end I just want some taller handlebars!
