What part of H Town are you located? I have a set of drag bars in the garage, and I'm located in the Champions/Tomball area.

They will work fine. you shouldnt have any problems with the cables and the mirrors will work, they should just be adjusted when you install the controls.

Mine are Milwakkee Twins 28' black drag bars. There is barely any space between the bars and the fork caps like maybe just a millimeter and on my bike zero space to lower them any more. As far as cables go everything is fine, as you can see in the last picture the clutch cable kind of sits in front of the headlight but it really makes zero difference for riding at night. I personally like them a lot, long arms, but I also like clip-ons which I am currently saving up for, certainly a more aggrezive riding position if you can handle it! I had to dremel out a gap for the underside wires from the controls to fit comfortably and still actually be able to use my mirrors so theres that, but I think they look badass so who cares! Mine were $30-40 on JPcycles.

Not sure if they are " Harley" bars. They were on a Sportster 883 I had. They will work on your bike.
We were close to your neighborhood earlier today having lunch near Beltway & I10.

I run the HD drag bars on my 2011 48 with no cable issues. The cable tucked under just fine and the mirrors are under-mount without them hitting the tank and +1 what Zane said above. You can see my bike under the 48 show thread.
