Would those of you that are more knowledgable than I am please tell me if a 2013 Iron tank is interchangable with a 2008 Roadster? I'm assuming mounting is the same, but what about the fuel pump/petcock/connection? Anything else I should be aware of if I am swapping tanks onto a 2008 Roadster?

should be the same and fit. only fitment issues I could think of is if you went with the 4.5 gal tank...which will bolt up but the seat wont fit. iron uses a 3.3 gal tank and the roadster does as well

 

The 2008 Roadster 1200 is a 4.5 gallon tank. I think the 883 Roadster from earlier model years had a smaller tank.

 

The tank would bolt on. The seat might not.
