I think I may be biased since I own one, but that stripe around the nightster tank just looks fantastic. That tank also looks right at home on your 48, why the 48 couldn't get the 3.3g tank is beyond me... one of the main reasons I didn't get a 48 was the tank... having seen yours with the N tank proves they would look just as good from the factory with the 3.3gal and be alot more practical.
Thanks, We have a lot of back roads around here that I could run out of gas on a Sunday afternoon. Just got tired of worrying about it. That said, I really prefer the flat bottom of the 48 tank. I really wish I could find a flat bottom tank that held 3-4 gallons.

no, it was pretty easy, just took off the stock ones, put the new one's on, no mods needed
