Thats the hotel that inspired the shining, but the actual hotel in the movie is two Other hotels
From Wiki:
[i]The exteriors of Kubrick's Overlook were supplied by the Timberline Lodge on the slopes of Mt. Hood in Oregon. Inspiration for the interior sets (erected at Elstree Studios in England) came from the 1927 Ahwahnee Hotel in Yosemite National Park.

snapped a pic trying to get the bikes silhouette infront of some illuminated steps in downtown dallas the other night. i didnt have my pro camera... just my trusty ol iphone
and i have to return to this spot in the middle of the night again but there is a 1" deep pond by the performing arts center. security guard came out to admire the bike while i was trying to do some guerilla photography lol

AK883xl,
Good ideas for photo taking.
In the first picture, what if you put the bike and the horizontal lines only in the frame?
You would need to park it closer to the steps and if possible somehow keep the bike upright. I think that would make a great shot, specially if you played with the brightness a little bit in PS.
