I haven't owned my 2003 1200 XLH long, but I have not noticed any vibration issues. I read this thread earlier, so tonight while I was riding, I paid particular attention to the vibration. I didn't notice any uncomfortable vibrating and I could see fine in my mirrors. I did not notice any real mirror vibration. As a matter of fact, I could read the writing on the mirror w/o any issues.

At idle there is a lot of vibration, in fact the front tire jumps around (which is easier to appreciate with the front fender removed) and of course the mirrors blur. Really not a problem for me...
