Default Mustang Daytripper Review

Looks fantastic on the bike, has very similar lines to the stock seat. Its narrower than the stock seat and not as deep. With sissy bar the bolts dig into the seat just a little, but not enough to do any damage.

Now for the real test, I installed it today and took a quick little 60 mile jaunt to get some dinner. I bought the seat because 2 up with the stock seat was murder on my wifes cute little bottom. Right away she told me it was better, but it wasnt drastically better. Going over bumps didnt hurt her butt like the stock seat does, and she doesnt figit as much.

However, my *** hurts. The seat is quite abit firmer that the stock seat and doesnt have nearly the same amount of back support as the stock seat. I suppose the firmness will go away over time but for now my butt feels like Ive been sitting on a gym floor for an hour. Thank goodness I bought it direct from Mustang as its headed back to them tommorrow. I cant justify the $300 for this seat.

I really do look the way the seat looks, but I think Im gonna have to give the LePera Sorrento or Daytona a try as both of these seats look like they might keep the line of the stock seat.
