I ordered a set of rush slip on pipes, the service manager had a set on his bike and let me hear them before placing the order, they sound great and reasonably price. If your concerned about a pipe being too loud make sure to get removable baffles that way you can modify the sound a little without doing a whole new exhaust.

I just put the V&H slip ons on. They are loud but not too loud and they are smaller than the others so they look like drag pipes.

first of all, welcome. personally, i like the sound of the vance and hines. they are a veryprofessional manufacturer and offer enough baffle options to satisfy anyone.i have cycle shack, and they are way loud. the vance and hines sounds like a small block chevy to me. mine are a bit more harsh due to barely any baffle. Just don't start drilling and messing around with your stock mufflers. keep em for when the epa wins.

also i heard not sayin its true (just hear say) harley may have some issue with changing pipes and voiding warranty dont know for sure
My experience is Harley's warranty is pretty much worthless anyway. They either won't honor the warranty, or they don't have the ability to solve the problem, and you have to take care of it yourself. So, I don't even consider the warranty issue when thinking about modifications.

Thank you for all your replies. I ordered the Vance and Hines slip ons today. The dealer said to put on an air filter and the fuelpak too. Any comments?
