Default Did a stupid thing today...

Installed a new clutch kit today. Got it running and all seemed well. Went to retighten everything and over tightened the clutch cable where it goes into the primary. The small threaded part broke off. Looks like it's off to buy a new clutch cable!

Stupid stupid stupid!

Sounds like you were lucky, it's often the primary cover that get's stripped out when the cable is over tightened.

We all do stupid things, I won't even admit to some of the stupid mistakes I've made over the years.
