Default Exhaust gasket question

My new exhaust has arrived(short shots). Are the exhaust gaskets reusable, or just replace? I assumed my new exhaust would've came with such, no so much. I looked at directions V&H states "Check exhaust port gasket condition". My bike only has 1100 miles on it. Should I just eyeball them and reuse if look good, or go ahead and pick some up for the install?

you can reuse if they look ok
but for the little amount of cash they cost why not just change them .

no headaches, wondering, no what ifs or re doing the job over again..

ps dont forget to re tighten the exhaust after a few miles if u add new ones

+1

The gaskets are inexpensive enough and no matter how good the "old" ones look, they are compressed and questionable. Use new ones.

You can reuse them many times but it would pay to get a set of performance gaskets so they aren't protruding into the exhaust port.

I imagine you won't be taking your short shots off anytime soon so I would say put the new ones on that you bought and just keep the stock gaskets for backup if you ever need them
