Mid controls on my 48 question

Mid controls on my 48 question
I was at my dealer today and just in passing , I asked if they had any take off mid controls.
The parts guy gets a funny look on his face and says "I'll be back in a minute".
He comes back to the counter with all I needed except for the pegs no less.
For $75.00 I couldn't go wrong ....
Anyway , I mount my original pegs on the controls and proceed to install them , no biggy.
My question is , what pegs are you guys using with the mid controls ?
There doesn't seem to be much room on the left to get my boot under the shifter , and then reposition my foot for a down shift.
I don't have big feet , so I can't be the only one with this dilemma.
I actually like the position for riding , but parking is a bit of a pain with the pegs just inside my calfs when walking it around a parking spot.
I'm thinking something short and thin would be best?
Just wondering what you guys recommend.
Mick

I feel dumb now , had the shifter adjusted downward too far , duh......
I'm using the pegs from my forward controls , but they seem really wide , and I wonder about the offset.
Gar , I was looking at the trident small , seems like they should only be wide enough to do the job , which might be a good thing for walking the bike around.
I've been salivating over the beartrap pegs from DK , I wonder if they would work as well mid as they would certainly work nicely forward.
Sub , I love the look/profile of your bike , perfect balance of low and mean looking.
Thanks for helping remove my brain from my butt guys.

I'm going to run the mids for a while and make sure they don't cause pain over miles ridden.
I'm really liking the feel and the handling difference , the bars feel different now and the seat might be "less" comfortable with the mids.
If you want 0EightN , I'll let you know if the forwards are available pretty soon.
Have to give the mids a fair shake before I send one or the other down the road.
