Default Wheel BEarings

My bike is an 06 and i have a rear wheel for 2000 and earlier. The bike uses a 1 inch axle. The wheel has 3/4 inch bearings. i bought 1 inch bearings for the 06 to swap them out but they dont fit diameter wise into the wheel hub. anybody know what type of 1 inch bearings will fit?

Another option i was contemplating, I found a 16x3.5 front wheel for 2000 and up that uses 1 inch bearings and uses dual disc. my question is can i use this front wheel as a rear wheel since its dual disc, my thoughts were maybe i could mount my belt pully on one side and my rotor on the other. Any thoughts?

The wheels in question are:

You have the wrong wheel! The 2000-earlier wheel uses 3/4" tapered roller bearings, which are smaller in OD than the ball races used in the wheels you have on your bike. You will also find that your rotor and pulley will not fit the older wheel, as the bearing housing is smaller as well. I don't know of a 1" bearing that will fit - you need a later spec wheel. Sorry about that!

It's actually '99 and earlier that use the tapered roller bearings. 2000 is when they first switched to the sealed ball bearings.
