Thinking about 2007 Nightster??
Guys & Gals...I am contemplating buying a 1200 Nightster and would like some opinions from fellow riders who may ride or have ridden one already. I am coming from the import cruiser world (recently solda 2003 Honda 1300 VTX) and am looking for something a little smaller and easier to maneuver (I mainly ride city streets). I am a little over 6' tall and about 210-215 pds. Am I going to have any issues with the Nightster size-wise??? Any and all replies are appreciated.

I'm about the same size as you (a little lighter ) and the Nightster fits me well.
I'm not too fond of the mid controls, so I'll probably swap to forwards pretty soon. But other than that you should have no problems being comfortable on it. They're not really great for long rides, but since you're mostly in the city you should be fine.
Go get one, they're great.

Dude, I have ridden crotch rockets my whole life. I bought the nightster two weeks ago, and have had more fun on it than any sport bike. I put Bub Jug Hugger exhaust and forward controls on it. The exhaust is absolutely incredible sounding. If you want deep and throaty, this is it. Forward controls are a must. Buy the bike now and don't look back. My sport bike is sitting beside the Nightster and the Honda looks silly. She is for sale if anyone is interested. Buy the Nighster ASAP and join the crowd.

Colorado,
I would definately try one out for size. I am 6'1" and pushing 200. The mid controls do feel a little tight and as mentioned I would expect a hard bumpy ride. I ride city streets almost exclusively and love this bike for inner city fun. I wouldn't trade it for the world but if you're used to more plush equipment you may find the transition difficult.
