Default New Harley owner!

Greetings everyone. I just bought my first harley a couple of weeks ago and am searching for the best price on a part. It is a 2003 Sportster 1200 customxl 100th anniversary. What i'm needing is just the shift lever for the forward control kit. The lever had a crack in it when i bought it and it finally bit the dust. I'll post a few pics. I went to harley and showed them pics and everything and waited a few days for parts and they ended up ordering a shifter for a mid control. Here are pics of what i need. Any body have any idea where i can just buy the shift lever other than harley directly? thanks

Try this place its a HD dealer but parts from this place are at times cheaper than most local dealeres.

I did a quick search but I would call the dealer and get the right part number and check how much they charge for it. If this one fits its only $62

That's the wrong part #. Reading Harley's old part # system, the #'s after the dash are the first year of production for that part. That shifter has an -04 extension. It's for 2004 and later.
The correct part is # 42582-99.
About $47-.
