Stock seats suck. You did the right thing. The stock Sportster suspension basically sucks too. I'm sure you will eventually get around to that also.

Sportster ride comfort is directly proportional to the amount of money you spend on it.

Congrats on the new ride! Many on this forum swear by Mustang seats so I am sure you will be happy.

Congrats and welcome. I'm somewhat new as well and I've gotten a ton of good information from the guys and gals here.

Welcome and congrats on the new scoot! And a new seat makes all the difference in the world for comfort. Ride safe.

re:the suspension, I noticed that it bottoms out hard when we hit any kind of rough spots on the road. Took it to local custom shop (Chariots of Fire Customs in Troy, MO. good guys) and the bike was still in first slot on the rear suspension, he cranked it up to the third setting for me. I have been reading a lot about getting road king air shocks and they look like they aren't too expensive.

I am excited about getting a few more days in of riding before it gets bad here in the midwest this winter.

If you're going to be riding two up, put it on the last click.
