Push starting my 883, maybe clutch adjustment

I was thinking the O2 inside the tires also becomes ozone (03) another bad gas for the earth ("smog" at low altitudes), holy crap. CO2 and O3 levels rising? I did not realize how dangerous this is. Does Al Gore know about this?
Maybe this is a case of the dreaded "spring plate" explosion as well? That's always a good source of all things evil.
Or, maybe the OP forgot to turn the ignition/stop switch on. Oops. I've done that before, more than once.

The few times I have been forced to push start I have also hit the starter at the same time as letting the clutch out, the battery may be to weak to turn the engine over but it usually has enough to give an assist in starting, the pushing gets the engine past the compression stroke and gives some momentum for the starter to work with.
