No person shall operate any motorcycle with handlebars so positioned that the hands of the operator, when upon the grips, are at or above shoulder height when such person is sitting astride the seat with the vehicle in an upright position. http://home.ama-cycle.org/amaccess/l...t.asp?state=ks

If they'll get you anywhere, it will be in Laughlin due to the high presence of LEO's. Good luck! We'll be there too. How 'bout you Wild Bill?

I have been to the river run 10 times with 18 inch bars that were above my shoulders and never had a problem. have lived in az for 4 years again with no problems. But the police in both places are strict and if you give them a reason to they will pull you over. good luck

They are usually not a stickler on handlebar height. I have seen and know lots of guys with tall bars around here and Vegas. No tickets... but like mentioned... if your being an *** you also get a ticket for your bars.. i do nto think they will ticket you just for your bars though.
