I am planning a ride in Arizona starting 4/26 at Buddy Stubbs HD heading out towards Payson, Winslow and spending the first night in Williams. The second day after visiting the Grand Canyon, I was looking spending the night near Mormon Lake. Does anyone have any suggestions of a place to spend the night or additions to the ride?

 

Mormon lake lodge is your only option for lodging unless you camp or make the thirty mile drive back to Flagstaff..

 

There is lodging in Happy Jack about 15 miles south of Mormon Lake, but I've never stayed there,
If you are heading out through Payson, Winslow, I would suggest returning through Jerome, Sedona, Prescott, and Wickenburg via 89a.
