Default Red River, NM Rally

Anyone here planning to go? I'm riding out from Kansas early Thursday morning.

I have refused to attend this rally ever since a 15 year old kid killed two bikers and seriously injured their wives and got away with it because his daddy and the DA were buddies. I do visit the memorial once a year, but not during the rally.

Be sure and bring you winter gear. The last time I was there it snowed for 2 days.

We were at the "rally" this year for the first and last time. This is some very beautiful country to ride in and will be going back for that, just not the "rally". This wasn't a rally at all. It was a bunch of vendor's selling their goods. Period. No concerts, nothing else going on at all. Too many cops in and around the town to be comfortable just riding the mountains. Yall can have that **** if you think that's a rally. Wife and I were very disappointed in it. And we aren't necessarilly the party type of folks, but we literally had cops running radar on every road we took a ride on. Even outside of Taos. Sorry, rant over.....
