I'm sending my seat to Mean City Cycles for a rework. My appointment is Sept 15. That requires I'm without a seat for 7-12 days.
If anyone has an extra seat that fits my bike, I would like to rent or borrow it for that time.

Harry I have a stock touring seat that someone gave to me. I think it came off an 08. You are welcome to use it.

I haven't had a chance to try the seat yet but I found out the fittment for touring seats goes from '97-'07 and '08-'11. The change is based on the tank size like you mentioned and not related to the frame change in '09. This seat was said to be off an '08 touring model so it should fit no problem. I hope to get a chance tonight to fit it on my bike to be sure. Send me a text and I will bring it to work for pick-up.
