Good Rides Near OKC?
Well i've been stuck in Oklahoma city for about four years now and i'm just getting around to asking this.... Are there any decent places to ride in or around Oklahoma City? I grew up in the Mountains of North Georgia and i know this place can't compare to that but does anyone from this area have a ride that's actually worth taking? I'm looking for good views, not to many straight roads and stuff like that. If anyone has a suggestion let me know.

What he said! LOL, yeah, Mt. Scott is a nice ride – about two hours on back roads down near Lawton/Ft. Sill. Talimena is the highest ‘mountain ridge’ between the Rockies and Appalachians. I go almost every year to tent camp down there at peak of fall color. It’s in the southeast corner of the state.
Here’s near peak in ’08 I think it was……..
I did a week long trip year before last down to Talihina and then up through Arkansas – some really fine riding in Arkansas.
Mt. Magazine State Park in Arkansas is pretty cool:
Here’s just afew weeks ago around Mt. Scott:

an older shot going up the mt:
You can always ride up Rt 66 to Tulsa for a nice ride…….it’s prettier around Tulsa. You can take a ride down to Turner Falls down Hwy 77 that makes a good little ride – check out Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur while you’re at it.

To echo what both above said, the wild life refuge is a good ride, lot of curvy roads, buffalo and longhorn in the area, take a ride up Mt. Scott, don't forget to stop in at Meers for a burger (bring cash). The burger is big enough that they cut it into fourths, and there are always bikers in there on the weekends. Like Outlaw mentioned, Medicine Park is a cool little hot spot, lived there for a few years. Stop in and check out "Chaps My ***" motorcycle store and have a cold one at the Park Tavern where there is usually a live band on the weekends.
