Default Grand Canyon Skywalk From Scottsdale

I have a meeting on Saturday May 15th in Scottsdale. Starts at 5 pm. I was gonna meet a guy out there, rent bikes, and ride for a couple of days before the meeting. He can't make it so I'm thinking about doing it by myself. I want to go to the Skywalk. Thinking about flying on Wed, ride & see Skywalk on Thurs, and ride back to Scottsdale on Friday. (This guy told me where he's rented before, in Scottsdale.) Can anybody recommend any biker-friendly motels/hotels around Peach Springs or the Skywalk, for that Thurs night? I'm a Hilton Honors member & also Marriott Rewards so Hampton Inn is good, Courtyard, Fairfield --- whatever. I'm a pretty low-maintenance guy so if there aren't any of the chains up there, just recommend a decent place to make a reservation. Thanks for your help.

You might try Kingman, AZ. That's about the closes town with any lodging.

try this link Holiday Inn close to the canyon

There is also Jacob Lake lodge on the north rim. Crossing the gorge from south rim to north rim is definitely a photo op.

We stayed here a couple years ago, http://cliffdwellerslodge.com/ very remote on the north rim(motel, small grocery, gas, restaurant, and bar)If I remember right they didn't have 91 octane.

Actually, before I read this, I did a little research & made a reservation in Kingman for a Thursday night. Any suggestions on 93, for Friday night on the way back to Scottsdale? Have to turn in the bike Saturday by noon. Thanks for your help.
