Hey guys, ran across this thread and am envious. I grew up in Tucson and rode the very route you are planning several times over the years while there. First Harley on this route was a 72XLH. Anyway, wife and I both ride and hope to get down there within the next couple of years on one of our road trips. Take care...man, we are going to hit 65 degrees in Oregon Saturday, pretty cold, huh?

Since your stuck with the Tucson crew, I might as well tag along but I think we will have you outnumbered. I will see you in Florence, not sure who your meeting at the shell station. Let's meet at that conv. store/gas stn instead of the river bottom, I think you know the one.

 

We took that ride last weekend. Between Winkleman and Globe, we froze our butts off. You gain quite a lot of altitude through there. Other than that one stretch it was a great ride. Have a great ride.

 

The Tucson group is meeting at the Shell station at Ina and Oracle at 10:15 (1st post).

What time do you want to meet in Florence?

10AM in Florence should put us at Oracle Junction by 11AM. I have no idea what you are thinking about the Shell station.

 

Joe, we scheduled a stop at Lupe's (Oracle Junction, regular spot) to meet up with the PHX crew coming in from Florence .. Save yourself some hassle, and we'll see you and Matt around 11:00 at LUPE'S .

 

That's where the TUC crew usually meet up (Shell on Ina & Oracle) when we head up that way.
