Thinking of going, never been before. Not sure yet as I'm planning a build on my bike around March. Depends how much of a hit my wallet takes from that. If I can still swing it, I'd like to go.

Default Lafayette Louisiana to Sturgis

Looking at riding up. Will arrive back from Africa on August 4. So shortly after return ready to hit the road and ride. Would like to avoid the traffic around Dallas and avoid traveling through Nebraska. So anyone interested in riding together let me know. I try not to ride much at night, so 500-600 miles a day is just about enough.

Man, I wish I could do 500 miles a day on my Fatboy. The BMW no problems, just the Fatboy kills my back!

I am curious about the deal with Nebraska as well.

I was going to head up through New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming and head back through Nebraska, Kansas, and Oklahoma.
