Forgot to ask if you could suggest a good camp? I'm not picky or bothered much by chaos. I drink lots... So maybe somewhere not real far from the good **** while not real close to the police station?

Buffalo Chip, as long as you don't mind too much noise and stuff like that. That's where they have a lot of good concerts as well.

 

I'm going...coming from Dallas, TX. So far I'm a loner but trying to get others to go. I'm like you...Drink lots, first time so want to be in the mix...pro-law enforcement but dont' want any trouble by them. Maybe looking for others to ride with if there is some peeps wanting to link up along the way.

 

Okay, lets do it! Buffalo chip sounds like the place to be ur right. My girl might be riding on the back but that not for sure yet + camping gear. Thankfully she weighs bout as much as a 40oz! The only issue I may have is the capacity of my (peanut tank).. Thought about carrying like a gatorade jug or two of gas or something in case I was to run out or just too far from gas. If you don't mind stopping for fuel fairly often tho we're all good. I got a card anyway so it really doesn't take long. Btw, didn't mean to give the impression I'm anti law lol! I just prefer to use my own judgment when it come to determining right from wrong. I do alright

Ganna try and talk my old man into letting me ride his bike instead of mine. Hes got a road king + cargo space = smooth sailing brother. Wont be holding my breath tho...

 

Got no prob at all...we can stip whenever we need...will be in no hurry. If it works out lets do it...Don't know if Im bringing anyone or not. Don't know yet what day to head up...should we head up a few days eary or get there on rally day? Oh and u didn't come off as anti-police. Anyone else want to come along?

How many days do you all have available to go? Ive got two options Im thinking about. One is to take two weeks off and go the long way. Several days to get there, 4-5 days there and several days to get back. Not too many people are going to be able to swing that. Another is to ride straight there party and get back in whatever time frame is best for all.

 

"I think" we should leave three days early. We could do 2 days early we timed it right but we'd have to ride 20hrs straight + or -. I cant really stand being in a hurry tho. Any way you slice it we spend 1 day getting there. Longest I've traveled in a day [so far] was dallas to shreveport and back. I admit it wore me out pretty good! I'm sure I can do much more if need to and WAY more if I was riding my ol man's scoot. Anyway what yall think?

Just fyi. I'm not against riding straight there. Or what about we ride till we hit nebraska see how we feel and go from there. Cuz if we do decide to stop and rest for a bit I think nebraska wld be good. Thats 1/2 the way there = 500miles.

This will be my 1st time @ sturgis.
