I want to extend a Personal Invitation to All Forum Members and Friends to join in our First Ever Annual Gonzales County Fun Run. The various Emergency Services Departments of the County (Law Enforcement/Fire/EMS) have joined together to help provide necessities (warm clothes, blankets, etc...) for underprivileged children in our County.

Thanks for the acknowledgement Donna. No, it would not surprise me for Joe to do that. Cuz Joe can gobble up more miles in less time, than anyone else I know....I understand Dean is almost finished his apprenticeship with Joe.

I am hoping some from San Antonio, Austin, Victoria, maybe even Houston...will mink oil the leathers, slip on the long silks, and ride our cow trails.....

 

That's a little over 1000 miles each way...

I'm considering it, would have to make the trip in one day each way though.

 

WOW !! Really. I know you are a true Road Warrior, but that is too much to ask. If you do, I'll make sure the spare bedroom is available.

If anyone wants to help us out, and can't make the ride .. They could go to our website and make a small donation ($3, $5) through our pay pal account. Just be sure which button you're clicking. One is DONATE the other is RIDE REGISTRATION.

Shoot I think it would be awesome, if HDF members put together some rides in their areas, took up donations, and found a local charity to help.

Sounds like fun wish I could make the trip. I have a hunted hogs with dogs there in Gonzalez with a friend of a friend. He lives there in Gonzalez too.

 

Sounds great, I'll see whats up for that date..............we will be having a party for my son next Friday. He got the phone call Tuesday night, he will be heading out Nov16th................USMC needs him now. We'll be BBQ 'in and killing some cold ones in his honor, got to send him off.....hang over and all............LOL!

 

Sounds like a worthwhile bit of fun to me! If I'm back home by then, I will be there.
