Question DFW area. Cost to paint tins??

I keep thinking I'd like to paint my Fattie something different like flat black. I originally wanted to buy an 08 Denim Blue Fattie, but got the 09 Fattie cheaper. Now I keep wanting my bike either Denim Blue or Denim Black like the stock bikes. If I dismantle the parts, what should it cost to have the parts painted?

I would also consider powder coating the tins, since it is going to be denim.
PM this guy about options in powder coating and pluses and minuses of each. He is a pro powder coater that will help you out with information just because he is good guy.

There is a place in Keller Texas called Color Works, 817-337-5141. They also do paint work for several Harley Dealers.

I rode over to Color Works on Tues. I have a new Ultra and somehow already put a pretty good scratch in the top of the tank. I thought it was deep enough it was going to need to be repainted. When I got there CUrt said he thought he could give it a little wet sand and buff it out. He worked on it about 20 minutes. It looks brand new again! On top of that he didn't even charge me! SOme of the work they were doing there was amazing. Some great custom airbrush stuff going on there.

Have you brought your TourPak down to Keller yet? If not let me know when you will be here. I am only about 10 miles from his shop.
