Question Prescott az ride

I am going to Prescott this weekend and am wondering which is the "must see" route. I am coming from Kingman and don't know which to go. Heard a lot about Skull Valley being a good ride but 89 looks better on google maps. Info? happy riding

Go to Wickenburg and up Yarnell Hill... you won't be sorry.

Skull Valley is nice, but there is NOTHING there!

89A is one of the best roads in the state, second only to the Coronado Trail.

So I only have 2 or 3 days for this ride(memorial day weekend). I think I may go in skull valley and out through Yarnell. want to do sedona and flagstaff in the middle of summer to get away from the heat. Leaving saturday morning and have a buddy in Prescott I am going to stay with. Will visit whiskey row of course. Hopefully he has been there long enough to know the hot spots. Forest service transferred him 2 months ago. Thanks for all the input. Happy riding.

Go in through Yarnell, so you are riding up hill... much more fun than down hill!!

I would also come up through Yarnell, then do 89A through Prescott, Jerome, Sedona and back to the 40. You'll love 89A. While the Coronado Trail might be a little more fun, this ride up 89A is much more beautiful IMHO.
