http://www.ifratelli.net/ristorante1.html I Fratelli in Irving is great. We ate there last weekend.

You've got to love the Love Shack, http://www.shakeyourloveshack.com/, but the beer is cheaper at the Bull Ring. http://www.fortworthstockyards.org/b...y_id=5&sort=59

It's pretty much in the middle of nowhere, and most of the parking is in front of a horse insurance place across the street from it. I like the place and if you want to go someplace where other folks go on motorcycles, you'll usually find a line of them out there on any given weekend afternoon.

If you want a longer day trip, you can head down to Hico and check out Koffee Kup. They are known for their pie, but have a nice menu also.

I have hear alot about this place. Me and a buddy of mine are going there tonight. We are going to take (from sherman) hwy 11 to hwy 5 the hit 455 then turn north on 377 to Clarks. I think on the way back we may take 377 to 902 in to howe and hwy 11 back to sherman.

Since I'm coming from the Plano area I usually take 289 up to 455. 455 is a nice little run, so hopefully you had a nice ride on that. All around it sounds like there are some nice back roads in that route.
