I used to race motocross, but that was when bikes had two rear shocks and were air cooled.

Apparently I'm unique, but I just think everyone else is boring.

I'm only a dirty old man with women that like being treated dirty and around the women that have the ability to not take it too literally. I generally leave the uptight broads alone.

Now as far as Bike Week goes, I think I'll skip it. It looks way too rowdy for me. I'll just sit at home on my porch swing and drink some tea.

That's completely understandable for those riders that have been to a rally before. We'll probably just check out some of the events. Would be pretty boring not knowing anyone there really.

Donna, the dates so far (90%) are March 25 - April 21. And no need for Operation Dish Towel this time.....even though that was fun and will be remembered for years to come. Keep working on my wife, she picked out an 883L before I left and 1/2 committed to a MSF course while I am home, but has been back peddling since then. Hoping to get her convinced and riding soon so she can join the group.

mossyoak, welcome to the forum and good to hear your coming down for az bike week. The V&H Big radius pipes are nice and loud but everybody has them.. i get my new "pipe" tomorrow, a 2 into 1. Keep your head down and watch your 6 over there and come back in one piece!

Yeah, I have been noticing that on here. I could really care less what everyone else has as long as they sound good cause I like the way they look. Been hearing good and bad things about bike week, but will most likely check it out anyway as I won't be in AZ long before I PCS to VA. Gotta cram all the fun I can into the time frame I'm working with.

I don't really want to bad mouth bike week... I'm sure Joe and I will check it out. We are just not interested in riding 20 minutes to sit and drink. We'd rather ride for hours, drink later.

Ralph, I'm glad you realize I can take your "dirty old man" attitude. Makes for some fun rides!! And don't try to pretend you have no tattoos... I saw that little Hello Kitty one on your arm!!

The ladies love the Hello Kitty tat. But the My Little Pony one gets more attention.

They have some decent bands this year at least, so it should make the sitting and drinking part a little more interesting! Charlie Daniels Band at Chesters, Cheap Trick, Eddie Money (well the first two are cool....)

When I first moved here and started going to bike week, they would have a big party at Cooperstown and block that street off for bike parking only. Those were the days (sniffle)!

Not sure what all we will check out. My gf will be working during the day and going to school part of the time also. Leave dates have changed, I will now be there from the 11th of Mar to the 10th of Apr Still have to take the MSF course also. Yeah Yeah, I am a rookie.
