Dean and Tony... thanks for the advice. I think I'll actually hold on to the eagles awhile longer.
Cryptoboy... I like the way you think, but if I thought they were bad luck, I couldn't sell them to someone else like Dean suggested!!
Matt...after the "I thought I had a flat tire in the van" incident... I wanted to thank you for noticing I had trouble yesterday, and coming back!! I'm sure the LAST thing you wanted to see was another riding buddy go down, and I'm sorry I put you through that!!

She wasn't the first time. She went down again at Carefree Highway and 27th Avenue. She went into a right hand turn a little wide and fast and was headed for the center median, tried to correct and went down on the right side this time.
We thought she bent the handlebars, but didn't. The right side mirror stem took most of the impact and turned the upper triple tree on the steering column. I just rode the bike home from my brother's house. It's a weird feeling going down the highway at 70 mph with the wheel pointed straight and the handlebars to the right.
Looks like if just got to straighten that out and the bike will be ok.
The 93 was closed about 10 miles north of Wickenburg. Head on collision between a car and a motorcycle. Wasn't much left of the M/C.
Haven't found any articles on it yet.

I had to work yesterday so I just got caught up. Sorry to hear (or read) you went down, Donna. Glad you are alright. If you guys ever need it, I have a little quad trailer.
I'm probably going to be working every weekend this moth so I don't think I'll be able to make the weekend rides until January.

I was actually tempted to take it around the neighborhood this afternoon, but I really need the pain in my arm to ease up first. I want to be as close to 100% as possible when I take that chance again. (right now it is hard for me to grip the steering wheel in the car, so probably a bad idea to try the bike yet.)
