San Antonio to Scottsdale
Hey folks. I've got a company meeting in Scottsdale, Arizona in the first week of November this year. I'm thinking about making a ride out of it. It's only 990 miles each way if I take I-10. I thought about making the return trip an iron-butt run but I have several questions for the folks from New Mexico and Arizona.
How's the weather on I-10 in New Mexico and Arizona in early November?
What are the odds that I will have to deal with snow or frozen roads?
Any high mountain-passes that will cause trouble?
I know it's a month away so I don't expect a detailed weather report. I'm just looking for a gut feeling from the "locals" on what the weather looks like at that time of year.
thanks

There are no mountain passes on the interstate to consider. Expect cool to cold evenings and warm to cool days. Plenty of sunshine in these parts. In my opinion, the best time of year the visit the valley on a bike. I-10 may be a bit boring. Let us know if you have a free day and we will show you some of the beautiful riding that our state has to offer.
