That would be more fun and relaxing for sure. And a chance to consume more fresh seafood. I will see what the missuz can work out from her end. If the rest of the crew would like to do that. Maybe we could make it a regular thing ? Even give it a name and chit, Like... "The first Annual HDF SAarea riders Beach Invasion", or Catch your Crabbsssss.... Bwaahaahaa... I'm sure you ******* can come up with a good one.

Default 4 / 25 ride to Rockport / Boiling Pot

Alright guys.... I can only do a one day ride to Rockport. I know Mike was talkin bout an overnight. I'd like that, just can't right now. Sooooo, I'm guessing we will grab a taco at Matamoras Taco Hut in Gonzales before heading out... estimating KS up 9 am 'ish. Below is the route I plan to take. The most part south of Yorktown is new to me..... yee haaaa an adventure. Estimated arrival at the pot... 11:30 to 12:30 .

There are lots of ways to go... so I'm thinking backroads down, and major roads back.. but we'll see...

So, we can meet anyone who can go either there, or along the way, or even at the Taco hut..... but that would mean you ******* would have to wake up and hit the road early.

Sorry this is soo long. Google map was not cooperating, so I wrote it out instead of posting a link.

Turn left onto 183 / 97 south
Veer right onto 97 south

Continue south on 119 out of Yorktown

Turn left onto 202
Turn Right(south) onto 183 it will merge with 77

Turn left onto 188 / FM 1069
Turn Left on Business 35 north
Business 35 and 70 intersect, shortly after Broadway splits off to the right
Veer right onto Broadway
Broadway ends, turn left onto South Fulton Beach Road.

Matamoras Taco Hut is accross the street from HEB. As you get into Gonzales turn left at the first light. Turn right at the next light, this route will bring down the main artery of town. Keep going until you see HEB (on the left the Hut is on the right), then you're there. 45 to 55 min from my house to the Cafe on the Square in SM.

Yes it is this Sunday. It will be a full day.

Sounds like a good trip. Unfortunately I won't be ale to make it this time. I am planning a trip home on April 30 for the weekend. I might be able to meet up for a short ride that weekend. I need some ride time.
