I had a great time yesterday. That was the first time I went riding with Mike and made it home on schedule. Looking forward to the next ride.

Wink

No....really Mike.
I WAS thinkin about that Willow City Loop run that we all talked about for this coming spring.

You know......
I'll be coming up from the south and some of you all will be coming in from the....well, east more than north I guess.
That's what I was thinking.....really.......yeah, that's it.

The fragrance of those freshly blooming Bluebonnets mixed with the smell of a few untuned, overly rich engines......... Mother Nature in all her glory and the sound of at least a dozen (albeit) LOUD motorcycles echoing through those hills and valleys.
(That is IF we slow down enough to see it all!! Ha)
What else could one possibly be thinking about.

Then again, I see that great picture that Mud took of you yesterday, and I can see the look of anticipation on your face.........PRICELESS!

Let's do it Guy's, afterwards, we can eat at Los Dos Amigos again and it'll give us some time to plan that overnighter Mike is proposing.

And Randy,
Don't forget the markers!!

See ya'll

Trying to post to thread. Keeps getting blocked...

Now it's working....

Mid to late April is good for the Willow City Loop.

Need a March ride.

Anyone ride to Enchanted rock? I know it's just a pink rock sticking up out of the ground. There are a lot of good roads around there. Just a suggestion....

I definetly want to do the Willow City loop while the flowers are in bloom...this time....

I have a hanckering for some seafood.... thinking about backroads through the post oaks, to the marsh, to Rockport and wallow in the seafood at the Boiling Pot...

Excellent route (no coppers)
and an excellent tip we got to eat at Los Dos Amigos.

The food was real good, reasonably priced, excellent fast service from the friendly waitstaff.

I snapped a few pix in the parking lot there..................

Now you're talking - Willow City loop and Rockport. I would quit my job before I miss those two rides.

You all have me interested in the overnighter. Let me know when the planning ride for this trip will be and I'll be there.

BTW, where in the heck is Los Dos Amigos?
